1. Scope of application:

The rental housing in the employee rental market can only withdraw the housing provident fund to pay the rent after the municipal housing rental public service platform has completed the online signing and filing.

If the employee (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) rents a house that meets the following conditions, he or she can apply for withdrawal of the deposit balance in the housing provident fund account of himself and his spouse for payment of house rental expenses:

(1) The applicant has continuously paid and deposited the housing provident fund in this city for 3 months;

(2) Applicants and their spouses currently do not own their own houses in this city and rent houses;

(3) The applicant does not currently have a housing provident fund loan, and has not drawn the housing provident fund to return the housing loan entrustment, etc.

(4) The applicant and spouse can only withdraw the housing provident fund to pay for the rent of a house;

(5) The applicant’s leasing behavior shall comply with the relevant provisions of this Municipality on house leasing, and the leasing contract shall be signed and filed through the leasing platform;

(6) Two or more individuals who do not have a spouse relationship jointly participate in the lease, and only one of the applicants and their spouse are allowed to withdraw the housing provident fund to pay for the housing lease at the same time.

If the applicant's spouse participates in the withdrawal, the withdrawal conditions should also be met.

2. Handling place:

After signing and filing on the Shanghai Public Service Platform for Housing Rental (zfzl.fgj.sh.gov.cn), apply through the Shanghai Public Service Platform for Housing Rental.

3. Application information:

After signing and filing online through the Shanghai Municipal Housing Rental Public Service Platform (zfzl.fgj.sh.gov.cn), employees should follow the online application process and provide identification information, housing provident fund account information, marriage information, online signing and filing contract information, Application information such as lease withdrawal time, lease withdrawal amount, bank card information and mobile phone number.

4. Processing time limit:

If the applicant provides complete application materials or information, the Municipal Provident Fund Center shall within three working days from the date of accepting the application (the time required to verify the applicant’s housing status, housing lease information, and marriage information is not included in the calculation ), make a decision to approve or deny the withdrawal, and notify the applicant. If there are doubts about the application materials provided by the applicant, the applicant may be required to provide other valid certification materials.

5.matters needing attention:

(1). If the spouse participates in the application for withdrawing the housing provident fund to pay the rent, the withdrawal formalities shall be handled at one time;

(2). If the employee's rental housing is within the scope of online signing and filing, if the employee withdraws the housing provident fund to pay the rent after completing the online signing on the leasing platform, the monthly withdrawal amount of each household (applicant and spouse) does not exceed the actual rent expenditure of the month, and the highest monthly withdrawal The limit is 3,000 yuan, and does not exceed the deposit balance in the applicant's housing provident fund account (a balance of more than 1 point must be kept); the single withdrawal amount does not exceed the three-month withdrawal limit;

(3). The applicant withdrawing the housing provident fund to pay for the housing rental expenses should be submitted within the housing lease period, and the time period for the application to withdraw should be within the lease time period.

(4). When the withdrawal and transfer is initiated, if the deposit balance in the applicant's housing provident fund account is insufficient, the withdrawal and transfer will be suspended.
