SPFMC¡¯s Internet Plus Strategy and Measures Rolled out to Brace for Services in Cyberspace
2016-07-26

Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center is out to launch innovative measures by leveraging “internet plus” technology to nudge up housing provident fund services in cyberspace in alignment with the requirements of Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development, and is poised to roll out the application service regarding Agreement on Shanghai Housing Provident Fund’s Personal Integrative Services (hereinafter referred to as the “online service agreement”) from today, in wake of launch of service hotline 12329, SMS, Weibo, WeChat, Mobile APP, and Self-Service Terminals. The agreement sign-up shall grant eligible employees access to online services to be launched in future, such as withdrawals, loans, cross-regional account transfer, queries and testimonials.

SPFMC’s current online services available comprise queries to search for Annual Personal Provident Fund Account Statements, subscription for free sms service, queries to search for account number, account information, and processing status. In the next three years, SPFMC will successively roll out online channels for application and handling services such as withdrawals due to payment of rent, property service charges, home purchasing and retirement, pre-registering for a loan appointment, loan application, loan repayment withdrawal application, changes and termination, payment testimonials for cross-regional loans and cross-regional account transfer, except the brick-and-mortar office based services such as loan agreement signing and amendment of important personal information.

The online service agreement handling procedures require real name authentication for mobile phone users and personally signing the Agreement on Shanghai Housing Provident Fund’s Personal Integrative Services at a service outlet once for all after online application submission, in a bid to standardize service management, clarify rights and obligations, ensure fund safety and better protect employees’ rights and interests.

Online application submission can be made by logging onto shgjj.com or the SPF WeChat Official Account and fulfilling the application form for the online personal integrative services. Should there be any questions or problems arising in the application process, please consult the hotline 12329 or the website’s online consultation column.

You may carry your identity card and mobile phone to any of SPFMC’s district/county management divisions for fulfillment of the agreement signing process after making the online application submission. We are to help facilitate the service at CCB Shanghai Branch’s provident fund service outlets for additional support as necessary.

All employees are prompted to apply for and handle the online service agreement sign-up as early as possible to avoid the looming peak hours or potential adverse impact on the rights thereof once the ensuing online services are launched.
