To bolster paying employees’ demand for purchasing homes outside of Shanghai, and go all out to develop the housing security function of the housing provident fund system, Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development recently unveiled Notice on Operational Issues Regarding Nonlocal Housing Provident Fund Home loans (JJ No. 135-2015).

There has been increaing demand of the Municipality’s housing provident fund paying employees for consultation and issuance of the payment certification due to home purchasing in other cities in wake of release of the Notice.  The 17 provident fund service outlets of the municipal provident fund center are ready to receive and handle employees’ applications for issuance of the payment certification to the provident fund centers of the corresponding cities due to employees’ purchasing homes outside of Shanghai or account transfer. An employee may go and fulfill application handling procedures as necessary. In the meantime, the municipal provident fund center has delved into measures such as streamlining procedures and a systematic approach to development in an effort to increase service handling efficiency.
