By extending such a mobile internet access, the new service application is intended to provide a new multi-functional channel for integrated provident fund services comprising query, interactivity and service handling, and featuring enhanced capability to furnish harmonious, efficient and convenient housing provident fund services to a broader swathe of paying employees any time and any place, with the best user experience.

As the scope of this Municipality’s housing consumption oriented housing provident fund use expands, the vast paying employees need to gain easier access to the information pertaining to aspects such as housing provident fund policies, personal accounts, home loan status, account changes, interest rate adjustment, status of online services and queuing situation at the service outlets. Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center shall also further develop online service application handling functions and the capability of safely and efficiently furnishing convenient online information query and service handling channels in the future.

The kickoff of the trial operation of SPF WeChat Official Account marked the unprecedented launch of real time provident fund account query by means of personal identity verification through real-name authentication by third-party application to save the time and effort previously needed for queries at service outlets. Moreover, SPF Wechat Official Account shall also assist in service functions such as dynamic feed of new provident fund policies, policy-related or account information queries, useful calculators and queries pertaining to real time service queuing situation.
