The project of Data Backup and Disaster Recovery System for Shanghai Housing Provident Fund System has passed the special acceptance inspection conducted by Shanghai Economy and Information Technology Commission of late.

The application-level offsite data backup and disaster recovery system project has been constructed in accordance with technical requirements level 5 in Information Security Technology - Disaster Recovery Specifications for Information Systems (GB/T20988-2007). Municipal Provident Fund Management Center conducted the construction project as per the requirements pertaining to management of investment projects of the municipal government. The data backup and disaster recovery system for Shanghai housing provident fund information system, delivered at beginning of 2015 for use as scheduled, has met the requirements and design criteria as specified in the project approval document in terms of its quality, progress and investment monitoring.

The launch of the  data backup and disaster recovery system for Shanghai housing provident fund information system will help boost the main information system’s capability in dealing with emergencies or disasters occurrences so as to ensure nonstop operation of the key services of Shanghai housing provident fund system for sustainable furnishing of services to the provident fund paying units and individuals of this Municipality.
