Director of SPF Center Shen Zhengchao appeared on Radio Shanghai’s Residents & Society program during the noon time on August 29, communicating with the audience on issues and concerns of residents of the city such as adjustments of housing provident fund withdrawal policies.
Director Shen Zhengchao briefed the audience on the measures to further relax criteria for housing provident fund withdrawal, increase withdrawal quota and streamline withdrawal procedures for the ultimate goal of expanding housing provident fund beneficiaries and ratcheting up housing provident fund use among low- and medium-income paying employees to alleviate the burdens of housing expenses on the families, as well as the guidelines and purposes for the adjustments thereof against the backdrop of the current policies on housing provident fund withdrawal due to housing rent and property service charges payment.
A series of concrete questions were addressed, and certain concerns were discussed with respect to housing provident fund withdrawal due to housing rent and property service charges payment in the course of the friendly communications, which helped remove the obstacles to understanding between the provident fund management unit and the residents of the city.
