The municipality’s 2014 annual housing provident fund payment base adjustment was initiated on 1st July as per the Provident Fund Management Committee’s Notice on Adjustment of Shanghai Housing Provident Fund payment base ＆ Upper and Lower Limits of Monthly Payment Amounts for Fiscal Year 2014. The municipality’s HPF basis adjustment (including concurrent monthly payment for July)completion rate, ascribed to joint endeavors of SPFMC’s and CCB’s service outlets and paying units of the municipality, had reached 97% as of 15th August, with online adjustment accounting for over 85%.
The 2014 annual basis adjustment has taken a consolidated online approach. The PF Center notified the public through newspapers and online announcement prior to basis adjustment. All paying units proceeded to basis adjustment by downloading relevant documents and forms from the municipal housing provident fund website and sending the completed electronic documents and relevant materials to their corresponding service outlets. This approach has quickened the basis adjustment pace, almost one and a half months ahead of the traditional schedule. The annual basis adjustment for fiscal year 2014 has been nearly completed as scheduled.
The Provident Fund Center herein reminds the remaining paying units that have not yet fulfilled the annual basis adjustment of proceeding to provident fund basis adjustment and the initial monthly payment at service outlets the soonest possible for protection of employees’ HPF-related legitimate rights and interests.
