SPFMC conducted development of the new version of self-owned subsidized public housing’s maintenance fund information system, which shall be officially launched in the municipality on 21 April after nearly six months’ trial operation.
The self-owned subsidized public housing’s maintenance fund, after over 20 years of development since its debut in 1990s, has covered more than 4000 homeowners congresses, comprising approximately 1.7 million households, in terms of its collection and use. The existing maintenance fund information system fails to meet the need for operational service volume and fund size of a twofold increase, which has become a major bottleneck for management and service improvement.
The new version of self-owned subsidized public housing’s maintenance fund information system features the expansion of channels for handling of online services, the establishment of 3-tier information sharing mechanism linking the municipality/district level housing authority, home owners committee and home owners, which helps improve services processing efficiency, facilitate customer services, further standardize and streamline management, and make industry surveillance and the homeowner’ query and supervision more viable and effective.
The new system shall go live on 21 April in a municipalitywide scale after its trial operation conducted by users in Putuo, Jing’an and Luwan districts. The current standalone system shall be no longer used from 1 April and all service data available must be forwarded to China Construction Bank for handling prior to 31 March. SPFMC shall conduct user training in the near future. All homeowners and homeowners management committee are requested to pay attention to relevant notice on SPFMC’s official website.
