Shanghai Provident Fund Center has been granted as “Prominent Units for Excellence in Operational Security of Priority Websites of Shanghai Municipality for 2013” in the wake of the municipal priority web sites’operational security appraisal campaign of late.

Shanghai Provident Fund Center kept tabs on operational security of the website in 2013, and remarkable achievements have been made, ascribed to the website monitoring, security patrol inspection and reinforcement entrusted to Shanghai Information Security Testing Evaluation and Certification Center, in tandem with the website’s daily routine patrol inspection, data publishing inspection, 7-day work week, data backup, self-test assessment and correction, and authentication measures for logging in of units, individuals and website administrators as well as a series of preventive measures such as firewall, security audit, intrusion protection testing and inspection, homepage tamper-resistant system, vulnerability scanning system, disaster recovery and offsite backup system. Shanghai Coordinating Office for Network Information Security therefore acknowledged SPFMC’s outstanding accomplishment in the operational security and administration of the website after comprehensive appraisals, with no occurrence of security breaches or potential security risks discovered, and operational security level ranking level I all the year round.
