Redesigned Shanghai Housing Provident Fund Website made live debut on 1st December in the wake of adequate preparation for its 11th round of redesign.
This round of website redesign made improvements in aspects such as front page layout, column construction and user experience, with an aim to upgrade functions, improve services and optimize website in accordance with requirements for government website construction.
1. Functions upgrade: attached to each news page relevant news and forwarding button for sharing on Sina and Tencent weibo platforms; upgraded website email box to allow attachment upload; developed site search to add fuzzy query and advanced search tools; streamlined accesses for user login on consolidated basis and enabled users to access multiple service applications once logged into the account, such as personal account query, online loans processing, online complaints for interest and right protection, and online consultation (forum).
2. Services facilitation: added query access for inquiry into current status of ongoing online personal PF loans, added access for 2D bar code download for mobile smartphones, optimized maps of PF district/county management divisions linking to baidu map engine, with pictures showing exterior settings of management divisions.
3. Webpage optimization: Front page was redesigned to encompass three-screen topics including government affairs information, public services and interactive communication. Aside from structural optimization of website columns such as online survey, unit user area, and top 100+ and best credit units, minor adjustments were made to alter variations of typefaces for website news to fit for readers’ convenience and user-friendliness.
4. Column adjustment: added columns of public rental housing, law enforcement inspection of HPF payment for 2013, party’s further mass line education practice; redesigned the column of online maintenance fund.
