The municipality’s adjustment of HPF payment base for 2013 was initiated on 1st July as per the Provident Fund Management Committee’s Notice on Adjustment of Shanghai Housing Provident Fund payment base £ŠUpper and Lower Limits of Monthly Payment Amounts for Fiscal Year 2013. The municipality’s HPF basis adjustment completion rate, ascribed to joint endeavors of SPFMC’s and CCB’s service outlets and paying units of the municipality, had exceeded 95% as of 31st August, with online adjustment accounting for over 80%. The annual basis adjustment for fiscal year 2013 has been completed as scheduled and is basically coming to an end.
During the annual basis adjustment period, the Provident Fund Center initiated law enforcement inspection of HPF paying units of the municipality, and took a series of measures such as paying units’ self-checking and ensuing sampling inspection, which further enhanced paying units’ knowledge and understanding of the housing provident fund system in a move to boost HPF payment of the municipality. The municipal Provident Fund Center herein reminds the remaining paying units that have not yet fulfilled the annual basis adjustment of going to provident fund service outlets for basis adjustment fulfillment and initial month’s payment the soonest possible for protection of employees’ HPF-related legitimate rights and interests.
