A ceremony was held at the meeting room of SPFMC on 7th February for sign-up of general subcontracting agreement on decoration design and construction for Jing Hua Fang public rental housing project at Shanghai Jing Cheng invested by SPFMC. Present at the occasion were SPFMC Director Shen Zhengchao and Deputy Director Jiang Zhiwei, responsible persons from design and construction, project management firms.
Jing Hua Fang public rental housing is located at the juncture of Minhang and Xuhui, covering an area of 46600 square meters, with a building area of 116700 square meters. It comprises 1680 apartments. Resorting to public tender with an approach of “integration of design and construction” and “show apartments appraisal”, the decoration project attracted bids from a slew of design and construction units, amongst which 10 units submitted their bids and request for qualifications. The elaborate design and construction of the tenderers revealed a fairly high standard of design and construction. After review by the experts panel, Shanghai Building Decoration (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Municipal Building Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. were finally awarded the contract.
The decoration project is scheduled to start in March of 2013, and to be completed by end of July for Jing Hua Fang public housing, which is to be ready in the second half year for leasing to HPF paying individuals in conformance with the requirements of the municipal public rental housing.
