After deliberation we hereby issue the following notice on application of HPF withdrawal due to repayment of home loans in order to protect legitimate rights and interests of paying employees and support consumption on self-occupying and/or improvement-orientated housing:

1. As for borrowers applying for loans for purchase of self-occupying homes of the municipality from commercial banks that have signed “Cooperative Agreement on Commissioned HPF Collateralized Home Loans” with Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center, withdrawal due to repayment of home loans can be processed according to current regulations.

2. As for those borrowers applying for loans for purchase of self-occupying homes of the municipality from commercial banks that have not signed “Cooperative Agreement on Commissioned HPF Collateralized Home Loans” with Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center, withdrawal due to repayment of home loans can be processed at various service outlets of Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center on a monthly basis with supporting documentation, effective as of November 15 of 2012.
